Gary Diamond, President, Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP
Gary Diamond is the president of Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP., which today is the largest recycler of electronics under the Ontario Electronic Stewardship Program. Gary brings value to W2RO with his solid understanding of how the existing marketplace operates and how a competitive, functioning, open marketplace can best drive waste diversion efforts in the future. Gary also has a license to practice law under the Law Society of Ontario, and formerly practiced corporate commercial law at one of the largest law firms in Canada.
Adam McFadden – Owner, FireHouse Training & Fire Fighter
Adam is a Hazmat Technician, Shift Training Instructor and Former Recruit Training Officer for Canada’s Largest Fire Service; as well as a member of the Joint Response Hazmat Team for a large urban fire department. Adam is also an NFPA 1021 Pro-Board Certified Company Officer. He is also the owner of Firehouse Training, a private-industry fire service training company, developing various programs in the areas of workplace safety, electric vehicle and lithium-ion battery fire mitigation tactics and safety, hazardous materials spill response and flammable liquids training. Adam has over 20 years of experience in the Workplace Safety & Hazmat industry, he has completed Cargo Tank Hazmat Specialist Training, Incident Command & Hazmat Safety Officer training programs with the Michigan State Police Academy. Adam has spoken previously at various Hazardous Materials & Fire Service Conferences including the Florida State Hazmat Symposium in Daytona Beach, New England Hazmat Conference, Oklahoma State Hazmat Conference and recently the Ontario Hazmat Responders Association Hazmat Conference, in Kitchener, Ontario just to name a few.
Jon McQuaid, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Call2Recycle
Jon McQuaid is the VP of Marketing & Communications at Call2Recycle, Canada’s leading battery collection and recycling program that has diverted over 50 million kilograms of batteries from Canadian landfills. Jon leads the organization’s brand, marketing and communications strategies. He champions innovation and public education initiatives that prioritize battery recycling awareness and safety across expansive battery categories, including household, electric mobility, and EVs. Jon drives stakeholder engagement and comprehensive solutions across the entire end-of-life battery value chain, collaborating with manufacturers, retailers, municipalities, and consumers to promote safe and responsible battery recycling practices. Jon holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.

Andrea Chmielinski is a client-focused business development professional. With 10+ years of experience contributing to environmental programs driven by extended producer responsibility, Andrea is an expert in EPR legal frameworks and enjoys working with clients to design and deliver new programs that drive circularity. Andrea honed her client relations skills during a period of self-employment and general business management. She joined RLG in 2021 to help start the Toronto branch of this global company. Now she works to grow RLG’s electronics PRO in Ontario and leads the launch of RLG’s LiSa box solution in the US & Canada.
