Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Processing of Automotive Plastic Containers
Automotive Materials Stewardship (AMS) is committed to advancing the circle economy for automotive service materials and supporting our producers in meeting their obligations under Ontario’s Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) Regulation (O.Reg. 449/21).
AMS is inviting proposals from qualified contractors for the processing of plastic oil containers and plastic antifreeze containers (together Automotive Plastics) starting January 1, 2026.

Summary Scope of Work
- Receipt and processing of plastic oil and antifreeze containers.
- Sale of recovered materials to end markets.
- Reporting on the volume of materials processed and disposition of materials.
