Waste to Resource Ontario (W2RO) proudly presents an exclusive webinar on "Ontario's excess soil market is coming online"
Every load of excess soil (or any material) should travel the shortest distance possible to a complaint site. This simple statement is much harder to achieve than it sounds. There's good news however, The Phil App and it's network of 1700 Ontario businesses are creating 50% closer hauls on average by sharing their sites and material requirements in a free and open marketplace app.
Phil is Canada’s only excess soil marketplace, connecting projects locally to reuse excess materials. Over 1,700 Ontario businesses – including industry-leaders like EllisDon – are using Phil to increase the visibility of their projects, divert material from landfills, and dramatically cut haulage distance related costs. Bryan Kerr
Co-founder, Design, Phil
Bryan is new to the construction world, We worked at some of the largest ad agencies like JWT, Y&R, and Publicis for over a decade. He founded a boutique design studio with clients LG Electronics, Adidas, and The Weather Network - he designed The Weather Network app with 40M users per month. His previous startup ‘Every’ a neobank app, was acquired by H&R Block in 2019. When he learned about the excess soil challenges facing Ontario he assembled a team of engineers - both coding and environmental - and got to work.
